How AIA can help add value for your clients and your business

AFG 21 October 2025 2:10:18 PM

As a broker, you don’t need to be an expert in insurance, but you can raise the topic with your clients. Then, with their consent, refer them to AIA Financial Wellbeing who can explain the options, provide a quote and help them apply.

Broker Mark Yu (Prospero Fund) recently shared how partnering with AIA Financial Wellbeing has helped him deliver greater value to his clients (and topped up his monthly income).

Mark Yu (Prospero Fund)
“Partnering with AIA has been such an easy way to add value for my clients. It gives them peace of mind knowing their home and future are protected, while also strengthening my role as a broker who genuinely looks out for their best interests.” - Mark Yu

And remember, a successful sale means not only a better protected client, but a referral payment to you.

How to refer

To refer clients to AIA Financial Wellbeing, all you need to do is:

1) Identify your client’s need for Life and/or Health insurance

2) Submit referral on AIA Financial Wellbeing’s Webform

Once AIA Financial Wellbeing has received the client's details via the webform, a Wellbeing Insurance Consultant will contact your client within 48 hours.

It is important to note when speaking to your client you must ensure that you do not provide any insurance advice.  This means that you can only provide purely factual information about the products without the addition of any value judgements or opinions.  This is because insurance advice is subject to Australian Financial Services Licensing (AFSL) requirements and there are significant penalties for providing unlicensed financial product advice.

Not yet accredited?

To send referrals to AIA Financial Wellbeing your Master Agent or Brokerage Owner will need to sign up to the Partner Connect program.

If your brokerage has already joined Partner Connect, then you will need to complete the accreditation module in Learn
