# Supporting our brokers’ mental health

Caring for our mental wellbeing is an ongoing concern that applies to everyone in our community, and the broking industry is no exception. You're at the forefront, guiding your clients through crucial decisions during both prosperous and challenging times.

We understand the strains, pressures, and toll that the daily demands of this profession can place on the mental health of AFG brokers. That's why we established the AFG Broker Assistance Program (BAP) and collaborated with Mind&Matter Australia to make accessing mental health services easier for AFG brokers. As part of the program, AFG will cover the cost of the first three sessions for all AFG brokers.

BAP is a voluntary and confidential counselling service with a solution-focused approach to help you enhance your overall wellbeing. BAP can assist when personal or work-related concerns are impacting your health or quality of life and when you need guidance on professional or personal goals.
