# Can compliance documents be signed electronically?

## **Can compliance documents be signed electronically?**

**Absolutely!**

**What electronic signatures can I use?** 

AFG will accept the use of electronic signatures on the following AFG documents:

- Credit Guide; 
- AFG Privacy Consent; 
- Credit Quote (You will require separate AFG approval for the use of the Credit Quote); and 
- The Combined Credit Proposal (inc. PCA). 

You can see the list of electronic signature providers that AFG will accept in our [Help article on electronic signatures](https://help.afgonline.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/115012692768-Electronic-Signatures).

The Certificate of Completion issued by an electronic signature provider must be retained on file, to verify the signatures on the above mentioned documents.

Please note AFG does not consider a scanned and locally saved image of a handwritten signature pasted on compliance documentation to be acceptable.
