Can compliance documents be signed electronically?

Absolutely!

What electronic signatures can I use? 

AFG will accept the use of electronic signatures on the following AFG documents:

• Credit Guide; 
• AFG Privacy Consent; 
• Credit Quote (You will require separate AFG approval for the use of the Credit Quote); and 
• The Combined Credit Proposal (inc. PCA). 

You can see the list of electronic signature providers that AFG will accept in our Help article on electronic signatures.

The Certificate of Completion issued by an electronic signature provider must be retained on file, to verify the signatures on the above mentioned documents.

Please note AFG does not consider a scanned and locally saved image of a handwritten signature pasted on compliance documentation to be acceptable.
